I have known Valerie for over 10 years – both as an employee and later as a freelancer. Some of the roles Valerie took on while working with us. She Managed the relationship with a large publicly traded apparel company, American Eagle traveling often to NYC to work with the designers and then to Asia to work with the factories. She was essentially our sales person, product developer and cost negotiator. She was well respected by the customer for understanding their market and worked tirelessly for then benefit – During the time she worked in this role the customer store count more than doubled to over 1,200 stores. Later she was tasked with creating a new product line after our acquisition of the Chef speciality Shoe brand MOZO, she not only brought new ideas to the market dramatically improving the of acceptance women’s styles she handled the trade shows, and worked with the largest customers and sales team.
After buying the cold weather footwear brand ULU I essentially handed to crown over to her, She worked on design, development, purchasing and sales. She did it all. The work she did on the web and social media was outstanding – Our direct to customer sales were much higher than plan – She basically took this by the horns from concept to full blown business in record time.
Every time we threw a new challenge her way she delivered. I guess the point of this reference is to say that Valerie has such a strong background and diverse experience I can recommend her without any reservations any company would be lucky to have her involved in their business.

Valerie has been my social media and all around technical go-to person for the last four years. She has been in charge of navigating the nooks and crannies of Amazon market place and Google Ads. She creates content for Instagram and Facebook for my brand. She designs and manages my Shopify website.
During the shutdown for the pandemic we decided we needed to reduce inventory. Valerie put together an ad campaign and a targeted sale schedule that blew what was over-stocked out of my warehouse.

I am of a generation that was not born with a screen in hand; so computers and the internet honestly intimidate me. She is patient in teaching skills and she will write up all the directions for navigating an aspect of a given program if I ask her to do so. She offers to do the little things that she knows would make my life easier. She is immediately responsive to a text or email. If I have had a question about anything I have received a response within the hour every time—for all these years!
Valerie is also a fashion maven. She is experienced and knowledgeable about the world of fashion and I depend on her eye when deciding a direction line-building my handbags for Anabaglish. She has the experience to build a line from scratch.
Valerie has worked in the international fashion business for many years and she knows how to negotiate with customers and factories in such a way that all parties come out with the best outcome. She knows a lot of people from the world of fashion on both coasts. She makes connections.
If I have a question for her about any aspect of business, she always has a thoughtful and well-reasoned response. I highly recommend Valerie as a consultant for all aspects of business.
